Jennifer is an Advocate and Voice for those who are Vulnerable throughout Washington, D.C.
Founder of The New Royal Family
Jennifer began single-handedly serving our homeless Kings & Queens every Saturday at the Mitch Snyder Homeless Shelter on 2nd & D St. NW, in the midst of the covid shutdown.
Rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat, and storms never deterred her. Her commitment organically drew the attention of others who wanted to support her efforts.
She has built an organization over the past two years that operates teams who not only serve the homeless, but respond to domestic violence emergencies, individuals who have lost their homes, and individuals and families transitioning back into their homes.
Her motto "It's About WE Not ME" is evident in how quickly & efficiently The New Royal Family meets individuals & families at their point of need regardless of the time or circumstance. They bring solutions & peace of mind!
The New Royal Family now has branches in DC, Delaware, Virginia, PG County Maryland, and Hagerstown, MD.

What We Do
Being a woman that nearly faced homelessness myself, I understand the pain of those who don't have a place to stay. I want to completely eradicate homelessness.
As Founder of The New Royal Family organization, I have installed leaders in 5 states to serve the homeless and walk with them every step of the way from the shelter into their own homes.
We want the homeless in our community to know they are loved and cared for. I will continue to serve them weekly on 2nd & D Street at the Mitch Snyder Homeless Shelter For Creative Non-Violence, as we have done for the past 2 years.
If you are homeless, we want to get you back on your feet. When you get your place, we won't leave you. We will get you established in your home so you can become a productive member of society.
Ending Child Abuse
Jennifer has worked with abused children and youth for over 20 years! We are creating safe havens & spaces for parents and children who have dealt with generations of sexual abuse and molestation. "I have taught homeless children. I want to create a healing balm. It will take a few people committed to the solution. Every child deserves to be fed, loved, cared for and be secure. No child should be neglected or physically abused. Without them we have no future.
Ending Domestic Violence
I have a passion for ending domestic violence because I am a survivor. I could have repeated the experience or succumbed. There is no price on a life. I recently had a friend 10 years my senior that was killed. We are losing people who are locked in fear. My experience caused me to lift my voice on behalf of others suffering.
I'm here as a defender to create healing atmospheres where we sow love into those going through these experiences so they understand they deserve to be treated with respect.
Domestic violence takes many forms from mental, physical, financial abuse and intimidation. It's time we break the cycle.
My organization The New Royal Family takes victims of domestic abuse and we put them in hotels to ensure their immediate safety. We have flown people out of state to a safe house and provided money for Uber to pick them up. We will expand our safe houses across the country not only for women and children but for men as well.
Improving Men's Health
I want men to pay attention to their health, and set and go to their doctor's appointments. We will have Mobile Clinics ride through the different wards in DC specifically for the purpose of addressing the needs of our men. "If you won't go to the doctor, we will bring the doctor to you!" We need & want you healthy!
